I forgot to tell you that after being an hour on the lawn Uncle W. insisted on coming in - they brought him into the Hall, by the parlor door & K. & Harry played. H. has a new song which is perfectly darling & Uncle W. was much pleased. K. played the voice. We have wonderful currants - making jelly - also raspberries - & peas & pears too. I wish I could go & have tea in your tea house.

Love to May & to C. & Kath. I really cannot write to them you must call them up for me - tell me if C. seems to improve. Isn't Kittie's letter ffun, & Cecil [[?]]

Dear child -
It is the most glorious breezy day you can imagine & we have had poor Uncle Will down stairs.

We put the cot on the lawn & it was indeed a time - how he hated it! Claire carried him down - we had screens around him & every thing possible. It makes him pant so & I dont see what we are to do - I am
