Do tell me this, or see if you can get him to do it. Francesca has told K. of a friend of hers who has rooms near you, it costs lots I fear. If she is going to live with E. she must only take a room temporarily. We want to know awfully. Of course I am delighted to hear E. is doing so well. I am thinking of her out on the little porch for sure this wonderful day. Anna sent me a splendid letter - it was a blessing. Philip is here today — he is going into service tomorrow. He came from N.F. last Thurs. summoned by a friend to Fortress Monroe, to get in service there - he found he had to go to Wash. & telegraphed his father to meet him-. Harry went with him to see Gen. Scott & then Col. Van Horn, Phil's old captain. He is now in the Aviation - does not fly - but runs things - he wants Phil - he seems to have him. If only all works well it will be an ideal job for Phil. He is going to Wash. tonight & will sign up tomorrow. He is very happy. He is not sure at all where he will go. May stay a while in Wash.
