She is most enthusiastic about all she has seen & learned of the President - she says in a letter to me the other day - "It seems to be a natural human instinct to have a chief & to love him - I wish everyone could have the opportunity of coming into personal contact with ours, that they might feel his influence"——   I quote this from memory as I have not the letter, I like the patriotism to go with her name - she is so deeply interested in all matters concerning our great country.
