Cloudy but we all went to church. It is so pleasant to have Cousin J. here. Showed her our room & studio before church & gave her lith of dogs. Thoughts wandered in sermon about "no cloak for your sin". Em & Will B. came up after church & made short visit. Had the oyster pie for dinner & it was delicious despite all our predictions. Washed dishes & studied J.S. lesson about crucifixion. Did not have time to get through with lesson in J.S. Tired the children once, but am not sure that I did any good. Harry S. joined us after Sunday. S. & introduced his chum to us. Chum walked home with me. Nice fellow named Robinson. Took nap & helped get tea. No Sam to-night hot in church. Sweet Cousin J walked home leaning on my arm. Goes to-morrow. Rather pleasant day.

Monday, November 29, 1875.

Very cold & windy day. Uncle L. came over early to see Cousin J. & they all went off at two o'clock. Aunties, Cousin J to see Centennial buildings. York Park carriage & were almost blown to pieces. I cut out my new blue dress skirt & sewed all the morning. Dr Cowell made us a little visit. Cousin J went to Princeton at noon. Drew dogs for Annie in afternoon. Expected Honey & her but they did not come. Sewed till tea time. Anna & Archie Schnick came in the evening which was quite a pleasant one. Sewed my little blue dress all the evening. Not a very remarkable day.
