Ther. Wed. Oct 31, 1906 Wea.
Geo Doer and Anne went together. I worked in studio and going over things. Hard rain and blow, cold, shielded low down on Sat & wrote note.

Ther. Thursday, Nov. 1  Wea.
Very cold and storm of wind. Painting & working in studio - Garland came and we talked over changes shaded on fireplace in my room. Was lying down when H. Greene & R. Heideker came. Beautiful girl - - charming time by fire with went at 8.

Ther. Friday 2 Wea.
Raining but Bushie came. Maria in St closing up netting. etc. Hard work. Got studio ready - and packed trunks etc. Tiresome but was like last year - being alone doing up table etc

Perfect, mild, clear morning
Ther. Sat. Nov. 3, 1906  Wea.
Tel fr A.P.A. coming alone in 10.45. I changed plan for gong in aft. all A.M. planting ferns with them. Stones moved. Letter to Sedgewicks. At one Welldon & A.P.A. and lunch. Welldon helped training ivy. At 6.30 to R.R. big moon. fire, supper, Vic by fire. Almost best. off with W. at 9.18 - good-bye. but happy. H.G. met me at North St. scow - to South in train - very nice.

Sunday.
Bad night in train. N.Y. no T. Bad break. horrid. got 10.19 to Beth. Met by dear E. & K. & big H. no boys. 
Looked over new buildings with them. nap and nice eve talking over R. and much else. good sleep. 

Ther.  Monday 5  Wea.
Fussing with E. and we made my wreath. H in at 12. and to Laurel Hill, Uncle will. Early S. the Randalls & Harry. Dr Miller - very little service - and very dear one - at final rest. at last. What a terrible thing it is. After the beauty of Sept. 1st.
