Players perform at the Modern Art School. There were three plays that were given three successive nights for the benefit of Mrs. Cam whose studio just burned down. The first was written by John Reade, he acted in it and so did little Ballantyne, who was the poet in the Magical City. It was a little farce, laid in the [[strikethrough]] warden [[/strikethrough]] trusty's room of [[strikethrough]] the [[/strikethrough]] a prison. The characters were convicts - a poet
