Constance Bigelow. We had a small girl - "Geraldine" - to pose for us and neither of us got anything but went for a swim in breakers miles high after four o'clock. 
Then I had a long conversation on Modern Art with a very nice bashful Chicago man in Webster's class with a perpetual grin and a grand pash for Nei^t^e^ch^e (z)--> you can put the z where you prefer
He is an old dear inarticulate and inaudible and feeble conversationally when there is more than one person around, but nice and thoughtful and expressive when all by himself. He is the man with only a private life and looks like this: [[image: doodle of a man smiling bashfully]]
