The fare and parking car see to amount to $10.00, so some time next week will you send me a check. I will get Mrs. Henning to put up lunch for me. I find that it is impossible to go Friday as I had planned, the connections are so bad that I should have to take a midnight train from Boston. So it will have to be Monday the 28th. Could you send me some money now?

I have paid my latest bills for laundry and materials and board. I have decided not to run up bills for supplies and have been paying for everything as I go along, so that is why I am already in need of money. Your letters were so good to get. It will be so wonderful to get back to you. I have done good work this week I think. But I have very little to bring home.
