Gentlemen.
The lower West side Federation on Health, Housing and Employment is sending a delegation some time in the near future to Colonel Somervell, Administrator of W.P.A. in New York City to express it's opposition to further curtailment of Work Relief.
We are asking you to lend us your support on this delegation. If you could delegate two of your members to go with the Federation to 70 Columbus Ave we and - most certainly - those workers on W.P.A. who have already been given or who are facing dismissals from the Work-Relief rolls would deeply appreciate it. A representative from the Federation will further contact you this coming week.
