A STUDENT COMMITTEE
on
ART AND THE SOCIAL SCENE
THE CITY COLLEGE
The C.C.N.Y. student committee on Art and the Social Scene is anxious to gather as much specific information as possible on the relation of the American artist to the social scene.
The first part of this questionnaire is designed to obtain information about incidents in which artists have been hampered or art works rejected or abandoned, for reasons other than aesthetic, in cases not mentioned at the congress.
Anonymity of the parties may be retained if desired, but knowing the full details will make the findings of the Committee more valid.
THE INCIDENT(s)
Artist(s) involved
The work involved (medium, subject, purpose, etc.)
Please state what you know to be the facts of the case (Include, if possible, dates, places, persons, etc.)
Can you suggest other sources of information?
Will you please add any comment or opinion which you think pertinent to the case?
