I think that you might like my plowed field it has more character than most of  my things. He advised me that I should look for things that were worth while painting, what I intend to do is to go outdoors and paint things that attract me, get the character of them in every sense color light arrangement - etc. perhaps in time something will evolve out of my work that is worth while.  Wardwell and I were invited up to Harrison for lunch today. I did not get back in time to paint anything before sunset. I wished it could have been you
