ΒΆ I tried to extend the small wooden models beyond their original recording intention by making them full scale (Lipsko IV, Nascilk IV, & Molgienika VV) in order to see if they could make it by themselves as straight relief, without relying on collage & painterly techniques. This was also the idea behind the enlargement of the solid aluminum model of Bogoria. I though it might make it as just relief, and though , I considered painting it, I really only thought of the painting as being like the process of painting a sculpture - I was nowhere near anything like the exotic bird idea. In fact, I did paint the model & didn't like it. Later when I was into the Brazilian pcts., I stripped the model & etched it & strated repainting it. Later I stripped it again & added masonite & I think wood to emphasize the depth of the relief (but still keeping it
