week— My window of flowers is just beautiful now. Every time I water my little group of cyclamens, I wish I could transfer them to your window sill. Your little one is still blooming - but it is nearing the end. Only two flowers now are left— Foster Smith enjoyed the open fire - and every evening we sat in the bright light of a shingle fire which glorifies my window garden. Last evening Mr & Mrs Pierce came in— They got on wonderfully with Mr. Smith who is very chatty. I hope you had some entertaining Valentines. I am too stupid to think of anything funny for such occasions. But I enclose one, that is so nice, I want you to see it. You will easily guess who sent it to me. Miss Bragg is going to get a puppy to be trained to protect her chickens - and Greenwood is going to undertake his education. I long to see you dear Annie. Oh for the better days to come, when you will be well, and all going on peacefully, as it used to be!
Your loving Fidelia
