So that all artists may be treated alike, hereafter our commissions will be based on the selling prices of framed pictures.  In cases where we have to supply the frame, one will be used as low in price as is consistent with the value of the picture, and the artist will be charged for it at its net cost to us.  Where frames supplied by us must be put in perfect order before delivery, the artist will not be charged for the alterations.
