My dear Miss Monroe,

Our Park Board in Kansas City are about to erect in a beautiful park of one thousand acres, a memorial to the man who gave the park to the city. The man, by the way, is Thomas H. Snope, who is supposed to have been murdered by Dr. Hyde. I have suggested Mr. Barnard to them. Ah, how I would love to see some of his work in Kansas City. 

Will you please send me his address at once, so that they can reach him if they want to. And then could you not send me some photographs of his work. Send them by express at my expense, and I shall promise
