Two members of the Board are my personal friends, and are glad to have suggestions, and I just cannot tell you how anxious I am to have Mr. Barnard do this memorial, with its splendid possibilities of portraying the ideals of our pioneer life in the West.

Remember me kindly to your mother and sister and to dear Miss Marion, in whom I am greatly interested.
