CAMA Dear Ben and Bermarda, Mira and I had quite an unforgettable time in Japan - our reception in Takandra was fabulous and also the last few days in Tokyo. Saw Yamada who seems to be a great person - Ran into Yoshi who is teaching and painting, we mined him on the second time we were to meet. Jadid is quite fabulous in many ways but they do have deep and serious problems. They are most hospitable and generous. Mira and I visited the Lake Palace in Udaipur - all white marble seeming to float in a limpid lake. It is now a lake hotel. A number of people are here Earnes, Girard, Wein from Chicago, a number of Europeans in various fields - all related to The Design Institute. Of course one can't but feel pressure of poverty - by evening the desst builds up so that the seen is a red ball - morning it is clear again.
