Dear Bebe Pritam:

Thank you for your letter and your invitation to exhibit in May of this year.

Time is very short, and we are now booked up until the fall of 1983. I think the only sensible way to handle this, if we can at all, would be to let it go until April, and see if by chance we might have a chair that we can let you have. Sometimes we can work in an extra piece, but I would not be in a position to promise it.
