I just wanted to drop you a line to let you know how very much I enjoyed your new book, "The Soul of a Tree". Also I have a small request I'd like to ask of you. I'm going to be in your area of Pennsylvania in early September and I would like very much to drop by your workshop and spend a day or so observing your beautifull work being done. I know this must seem like a bold request from a complete stanger but I have admired your work for years and would feel a great loss if, being in your area, I was unable to observe a true craftsman and artist at work. So, Mr. Nakashima, I hope you will consider my request and write me in return. also I would like to have one of your catalogs if I can. I am interested in ordering one of your chairs.
