Dear Mr. Elkan:

I have talked over the situation of handling your pieces in our showroom here with my wife, and we have decided that for our business it would be best to stick to the pieces we make here and some items that are made in Japan. It becomes something else when we handle outside crafts.

When you were here last Saturday, you mentioned that you wanted to show me the walnut burl, to which I agreed. But when you came up with a box full of your products and sold them to our customers, we felt it was a great imposition, and we cannot tolerate this sort of thing.

Sincerely yours,
