Mr George Nakashima
New Hope, Penn

Dear Mr. Nakashima:-
On a recent visit to the Boston Museum of Fine Art we were delighted to see your bench and chairs in their collection, and today the article in time magazine refreshed our memories once more.
Back in the mid 1950's we were fortunate to purchase a number of your pieces of furniture - 1) A dining table with six chairs, 2) A plank coffee table, and 3) A small table. At that time we lived in Omaha, Nebraska is a home designed by my brother Alex.
I recall, too, the time we visited you in New Hope and you showed us a coffee table that you insisted on taking back from a woman who had allowed it to become stained with liquor marks because "she didn't appreciate wood".
We cherish our pieces of your furniture and have continuous pleasure in using them, or just rubbing our hands over the surface.
