Dear Mr. Nakashima:

Our plans for Japan are now reasonably firm and it now seems definite we will be in Tokyo during the day of September 20th, possibly leaving for Kyoto that night.

Noel and I would greatly enjoy seeing you all in Tokyo. Would you like to pencil in a time and data now or shall we talk by phone in Tokyo? We'll be at the Palace Hotel starting September 15th.

I am much in the mood for seeing Japan and rekindling the inspiration it affords me.

The thought of revisiting Katsura especially thrills me. I find it possibly the most beautiful place I've seen.

Warmest regards to you all.
