Dear Mr. Nakishima [[Nakashima]],

First, let me introduce myself, as you may not remember meeting me. My mother was married to Al Butterer when they lived across from you on Aquetong Road. I also have a youngster at George School with your grandchild, and as a member of the Parents Association have tried to get your daughter Mira to serve on the Executive Committee.

I was fortunate in hearing you speak recently at the Philadelphia Orchesta [[orchestra]] Benefit for B.A.N.D. Therefore, when I heard Barbara Hubbard express many views similar to yours at the Peace Fair, I felt I wanted to share with you some of her ideas.

Barbara Hubbard is seeking the democratic vice presidential nomination. for those of us who were able to hear her speak, it was indeed a rewarding experience. She is an extremely intelligent, thinking individual, who would be an asset to either party. Her focus is on peace and communications between individuals, with emphasis on the positive rather than the negative.

I urge you to read the enclosed material and in the future keep an eye out for this individual who is headed in the right direction.

Most sincerely,

Diane Siesel Sodano
