It is understood that the undersigned consignee assumes full liability for any loss and / or damage from any cause whatsoever to the property described herein while the property is under the consignee's control until it is received and receipted for by the Martin Widdifield Gallery. 

The consignee further agrees to conduct all negotiations with any insurance companies issuing insurance on the above property, but no settlement with any insurance companies shall be made or become final until approved in writing by the Martin Widdifield Gallery.
