April 17, 1967

Mr. Don Judd
Castelli Gallery
4 East 77 Street
New York, New York

Dear Mr. Judd:

In January, following a meeting with Mrs. Lipman of Art in America, we suggested that you participate in the National Competition for Playground Sculpture. As the deadline, May 15, draws near we want you to know that we are most enthusiastic about what we hope will be your joining in the Competition. We do hope you are now preparing sketches.

The editors of Art in America are interested in developing a feature article about the Competition for their December issue, which is slated to include a cover photograph of the winning design, and photographs of those identified by the judges in the article itself.

To remind, we are enclosing a prospectus and application form. If there is further information you wish, or if there is any way in which we may assist you, please let us know.

Yours sincerely,
Eugene E. Myers
