December 5, 1967 Miss Emily Rauh Curator City Art Museum of St. Louis St. Louis, Missouri Dear Emily: I am writing in reference to the matter of the damage to one section of Donald Judd's Untitled sculpture, 1967, consisting of 8 boxes, 4' cube. As you acknowledged in your letter to Donald of November 30th, the damage occured [[occurred]] while the pieces were insured by your museum. I am writing now to establish the amount of the insurance claim so that you can submit it to your insurance company. The amount is $600 ($500 for the manufacture of a new section and $100 for Donald's labor). Would you please send future correspondence in regard to this matter to me as Donald has placed this claim in my hands. Thanks very much for your attention to this matter. Sincerely, Kay Bearman
