Respectfully returned with the information that I have paid this case.  The Receipts and money were in the hands of Capt Graham within a very few days from the time I received them, and remained there until I took them away and paid the claim  I do not know what object Capt Graham had in telling Mr Carr that he had not the  vou-

-chers and funds.  He may have thought it was not a matter for him to give Mr Carr any information about  At any rate the delay was us fault of mine, and it does not appear that Rachel Grosper put in an appearance at the office  If she had I think it pretty certain she would have been paid.
