Maj. General
Oliver. O. Howard
U.S. Army

Sir

A school House and other houses necessary for the public, was on the grounds; Capt Pease, De Duncan and other connected with the Freedmens Bureau resided on the lot. This lot contains 16 84/100 acres in the center of Vicksburg.
