I worked for him done his Cooking Sewing Nursing Washing & Cleaning up his house for the Sum of Ten Dollars per Month, and what was made on the land in the year 1869 Corn Cotton Peas & Pumpkins went to pay for the land also.  there was 1 1/3 Bales of Cotton for my part & there was Twenty (20) Barrels of corn at 2.00 per bushel. The Cotton sold for 18 cts the Bales average 4.00 1bs and he refuses to give me a deed to my land and says he intends to put me off of the premises. the facts of the case are all true, as I have stated them to you, as I can get as many Whites & Colored people to testify to as you may want, all I want is my land
