The date year looks like 1841 but I looked up the bereau and it said it operated from the mid-1850s to 1872. So I wrote the year as 1871. ** hint... the top of this page, in orange, says .... LETTERS RECEIVED, ENTERED IN REGISTER 18, 1-499, JAN. - DEC. 1871, PART 4..... I have to look up there a lot :D
