I now seatle to Write you, and the necesity demands my sad Request, and I therefore hope that this petition will be granted by you if possible.
And my Request is made in be half of the School Building in this Town, commensed last spring as you will Remember that I told you of when I visited your School in december Last, Which in the commensemt of the building your honor promised one thousand dollars and only five hundred has been Recd. the promis caused the People to Lay the foundation for an extensive Building and with their did thought to complete a Building of honor, tho failing for want of promised assistance, the Work is not done. yet.. though the Workman has got judgement for the Work done and the Building is likely to be sold from us and the commitee has Requested my informing you of the fact and to Pray you aiding us if no more to 2 hundred dollars if in your power and we will do the [[Remnent?]]
