In reply to your request of the 29th ulto. that such action be taken as will cause the contractors for the stone wall around the Arlington national cemetery to remunerate Nelson Catlett for the damage done his lot - I have the honor to inform you that Captain William Myers, Depot Quartermaster, in charge of the cemetery, reports under date of the 7th inst, that the amount of damage in this case was paid to complainant's wife by the contractors on the 3d inst.
