[[STAMP]] THE NATIONAL ARCHIVES OF THE UNITED STATES [[/STAMP]

States that he and a brother were set free by their master in 1851 and given $500 each and a life interest in 50 acres of land; one of brothers died leaving his property to him. There are due him his brother's $500 with interest since 1851 and his interest in the 50 acres with rents up to the present.

Desires to know if there can be anything done for him
