Personally came before me the undersigned  Clerk of the County Court in & for the County & State above named D.W. Glassie to me well Known as a citizen of my county well known and respected and of great reputation who being by me first duly service according to law deposes as follows
The Discharges of Nelson Terrell Co C 13th U.S.C.T. and Samuel Terrell Co "K" 13 U.S.C.T. with many others of the same regiment were placed in the hands of the firm of Glassie & Cook of which firm I was a member for the benefit of the Soldier by Lieut Col Tournicht of that same regt. in the spring of 1866 after this time, I donot know how long but as the soldiers dropped in their claims were made up. In this way the soldiers Nelson and Samuel Ferrell above named came into our office and made up their claims. Took our receipts for their discharges & prosecuted the claims to a final settlement. When the claims were allowed or returned these soldiers returned our receipts, collected

over
