ROBT. BEVERLEY, President. GEO. C. WEDDERBURN, Sec. & Treasurer. Virginia Telegraph Company, OFFICE No. 2 PRINCE STREET. Alexandria, Va., Nov. 16th 1871. Executive Committee. ROBT. BEVERLEY, GEN. M.D. CORSE, D.L. SMOOT, G.C. WEDDERBURN. Hon. Sec'y of War. Washington City. D.C. Sir, I have on file in the Bureau of Refugees, Freedmen, and Abandoned Lands an application for damages done a farm of mine in Lunenburg County after the war, which I wish to withdraw on account of the endorsements of Messrs, Wade, Foster, Ramsey and others — I have a letter from Adjutant Gen'l E. Whittlesey, who has them, and refers me to you for permission to withdraw them, which I now most respectfully ask. An early answer covering an order for them will oblige Yours Respectfully Geo: C. Wedderburn
