Bureau Refugees, Freedmen & Abandoned Lands, Head Quarters, Superintendent 2d District, Petersburg, Va, Jan'y. 25th 1867 Resp'ly referred to Captain D.J. Connolly Asst. Supt. Sub-Dist Nottoway and Luxemburg Cos, Va, for a full report in regard to the within claim. Information is particularly required as to the condition of the buildings, fences etc. on the 3d of Aug. 1865, and the amount of damage done to the premises since that time, being the date at which Lieut H.V.
