From your great interest in this work, I know you will give us your counsel and assistance to the extent of your ability.  The Commission of Home Missions to Colored people of the P. Episcopal Ch. is not able to purchase this property now, tho it is clear (the money not having been paid) we cannot long hold it, and its relinquishment on our part, would of course close the school, an event we should exceedingly deplore.
