P.O. Annapolis Md. Decm. 20th, 1871 Sir, Can the Freedmen's Bureau furnish transportation to an old colored woman from Montgomery Alabama to this place. Her daughter lives here, and has been informed that the Freedmen's Bureau will upon application furnish the above The old woman is in very needy circumstances where she is, if she could manage to get home, her daughter could provide for her. Please inform me and oblige Very Respectfully Your Obdt. Servt. W.O. Bigelow P.M. To the Freedmans Bureau Washington D.C.
