General
I beg leave respectfully to report on the conditions of the schools, of the Educational Association. These schools were established as early as January 7th 1865. By the indefatigable exertions of the Rev. J.W. Alvord, Rev. Mansfield French, Rev. Mr. Richardson, Rev. James Lynch, and several distinguished divines and Citizens of Savannah.

The following persons were duly elected to act as an Executive Board. Revs. John Cose, Wm. J. Campbell, W.L. Houston and C Bradwell. Brothers James Mills, Jerry Jones, James Porter, C Campfield, & Sam'l McIver, and F. Lloyd.

These schools General, have been for several months the Pioneer schools of Savannah.
