Pulaski Tenn Sept 14th 1865

Mr Ogden sir in answer to Circular I send you the following report

1st numbers of cold persons in this district fifteen Hundred is thought to be about the number

2nd the number of schools in said district one

3rd Whole number discontinued one and cause for want of teachers capable of teaching

4th Whole number of white teachers none

5th Whole number of Colored Teachers four By whom. 3 by the Western Commission and one by myself

6th Whole number discontinued.  All for the present Miss Shepard does not want to teach any longer she is married

7th Whole number of months taught in School since organization four months & a half

8th whole numbers of pupils enroaled under twelve years of age 123 the number over twelve and under 21 years 72 the number over 21 years is 21

9 Whole number of teachers who have taught less than 3 months Whole number taught 3 months and less then 6 months 2  Whole number taught six months & less then 9 months none  How many teachers in demand I [[strike]] I haven't [[/strike]] think four more will supply this district

10th The amount paid per month is about fifty dols tuition year one a [[?]] of all the
