9. Remarks. 
There are two other schools, the teachers of which promised to report, but have failed to do so. One is in North Memphis and is taught by Dr. Lesley under the auspices of the New Advent Society. & has about 100 pupils. The other is the Dotson's School in which there are about 20 pupils. There is also a school at the Memphis Colored Orphan Asylum.
