All Italy, during the Renaissance was quick & alive to beauty, & proves to us again that it is only the highest civilization that can carry appreciation to all its peoples. You can help to counteract it by studying to know what is true, what is pure, what is beautiful art. Take down the foolish copies and amateurish pretentions and if you cannot afford original works of art, fill your homes with
