Went to the Reception and had a lovely time — Have been to a lots of "gatherings" of "ye Quakeres" and enjoyed them immensely. The last was at the Crew's. Went with Ms. Thompson — The night was a wet, bad one — We stayed longer than we knew; the street cars had stopped running and oh my! Thought I'd have to stay all night — they are lovey people, but we- or they- couldn't find any telephone or telegraph office open and Myra would not know. We finally found a cab - I was on duty that evening to read. I like the Quakers so much better than any of the other people.
