GRAND HOTEL DE FRANCE
ANDRES BELLO
ORIZABA, VER., MEX.

after I work awhile it will get better. One of the English speaking boys who works in this hotel arranged that his brother (an artist !!!)and another English speaking friend show me the town to-day. They took me to an old church and convent. I had been in the church but never suspected all that was behind it. The church is over 500 yrs old made of solid stone masonry - stone vaulting & walls of about 8 or 10 feet thick - We went down into the cellar where they buried the priests & up into the towers & out on the roofs - climbed all over the domes - and saw all of Onzaba below- Took some swell shots - hope they came out - Went back there again this afternoon with this same boy to sketch. He got permission from the priest - Was I lucky! He says he wants to practice his English - Everyone is so very nice to me!
