A bright gallery in connection with a show for high school students under the same Carnegie (or is it general ed.) grant as you are on. We had some near 200 at the first, chiefly home economics students (it rained torrents much to the dismay of the [[washburess?]]), and over 300 for those majoring in art. And this group was particularly responsive. Miss Plumley, who had met you at one of the Conferences, inquired for you especially. They gave me a "swell" time and seemed to like what I did in the lectures. There's a nice spirit there.

If you ever go to Buffalo (I'd never been there before), you want to see the new Music Hall (barely completed), designed by Saarinen + his son. It's just thrilling. Lucky Buffalo-nians (if that's what you call them)!
