Sat-

Sam dearest-
Just a few words so you'll hear from me. This morning the two photographers and I were out on the lake at 8 A.M to see all the Indians from the various villages go out on a duck hunt. We followed them and I hope got some pictures. They use funny darts and spear the ducks - throwing the darts something like a javelin- there were several hundred indians out- 2 to 4 men in each dug out boat - Gosh it was thrilling - They're getting ready for tomorrow's fiesta - Sec'y Wallace and Camachio [[Camacho]] are due here to-nite and the place is just about on it's ear.

I'm supposed to go up & take pictures of natives in special costume but if I did I wouldn't get a chance to write you so
