Letter from you today. Youu already explain why you want to move from J. les P.

It seems now silly, I'll see you soon, but this letter was meant to be a nagging letter and nothing that comes to my mind is written, I change my mind as I want to say it (This is why this letter may seem confused)

I worked well today - The weekend made me feel good. It's very hot in NY now. I bought myself a summer suit I'll surprise you with (it's pink) (I exagerate). I forgot to tell you that a few days ago I spent a sad evening with Bill and Arthur Steig, they tried to convert me to analysys or whatever the 2 of them are going Thru. Tonight I was invited to diner at Hellmans - They had good chicken and the other guest was Newhouse (N. Yorker writer) we had pleasant conversation. I saw some more proofs of the book, they look not bad. Pity I wont be able to see it ready but they'll send it to me as soon as they have it (the book)

I started packing the footlocker. I won't take much stuff.

I embrace you with much much love dear
Yours ever and soon
Saul
