Dear Hedda,
I'm happy happy happy, received now your telegram.
God bless you for that, I've been so worried and sad looking all this time with nothing from you since that ugly letter I last received while in China. I had that letter in mind all the time and I'm now so glad for the beautiful telegram you sent me. You say you called twice to the old code and then you say you miss me and then-the best of it-you say I love you and that's the things that makes me happy and thinking that the world is good- No mail from you yet but now it can happen really any day- I'm sending you a EFM telegram (that's the only kind we are allowed here) and I'll write you this afternoon a good letter.
I love you much, S-
