Dear Hedda, no mail from you - damnit. Any day now I have more chances to get some, a bunch I hope - As usual I have 2 addresses one with the Army Post office and one with the Navy Post office and one with the Navy: NAVY 1925 %Fleet Post Master New York N.Y. Try it just see again the difference, maybe it's faster than the Army - I'm sick of being attached to the Army. I'm on the air, The Navy will send me to the Army and the Army to the Navy -

I'm fine, the weather is fine, getting warmer, my health is good - A year ago this time I was in California at Beverly Hills and had a good time, everything there is clean and new, everything looks like in the advertising for chesterfield cigarettes - I bought there a couple of fancy shirts - later lost with my baggage in Chine - I still hope to find that baggage of mine, I have letters from you and drawings in it and I'll be really sorry to lose it definitely - It seems impossible to think that a year ago this time I didn't know you - I feel like I always knew you. Love you S -
