some 20 old letters from you, picked up from the pile of letters. What a change of atmosphere between different periods of time. Also some of the letters I didn't like too much appear to be instead all right I have the feeling I know a lot more about you now than I knew, let's say, 6 months ago. The best idea I had ever in my life was to ask you to be my wife and have you approve it. That makes everything smooth and I don't feel anymore like trying to be sophisticated or interesting. Too bad I lost some of the letters you wrote me in the beginning, first 3 months overseas. I lost them with my baggage. I wonder [[strikethrough]] how [[/strikethrough]] what somebody who's reading them now will think about them. I read many strange letters I found around in bombed or abandoned houses and they are all mysterious and beautiful. Everybody is writing better than I do

I'm collecting now postcards reproductions of paintings and sculptures about Leda

Love you dear
